Invisalign


The Invisalign® page displays a list of patients for whom ClinCheck® animations are posted and available to view online. Click on any name to view the patient's animation or to forward a link to the animation to a referring doctor. Sesame automatically adds the ClinCheck animation for new Invisalign patients when their status on your VIP page is Aligner Shipped. Please allow 7-10 days for the ClinCheck animation to post. Sesame pulls new Invisalign ClinChecks once per week.  Check for new ClinChecks on Tuesday mornings.  A patient must have a status of Order Complete on your Invisalign VIP pages for Sesame to upload the ClinCheck animation.

 


Notification of New ClinChecks

You will receive an email notification you when a new ClinCheck animation has posted to Sesame.  If the patient's email address is registered, the patient will also receive an email notification that new ClinCheck animation has posted.
 



Matching Patients

You may notice that a patient's name is missing from the list of available ClinCheck animations on the Invisalign page. Check to see if the patient's name is listed on the Unmatched Patients page. An unmatched patient is a patient whose name Sesame cannot match to any in your practice management system (PMS).  Unmatched patients are a result of entering the patient's name or date of birth differently into the Invisalign VIP pages than the name and birth date appear in your PMS.  Because Sesame does not have enough information to match the patient correctly, Sesame lists these patients as unmatched so you can link the ClinCheck to the correct patient.  If you have unmatched patients, Sesame will display a notification on the main Invisalign page.

Refinements

To request ClinCheck animations for case refinements, click Update next to the patient's name (Figure 2). The status will change to Requested until the new ClinCheck animation has been posted (Figure 3).  After the refinement is posted, the date in the Date column will update.  Patients will not receive an automatic notification when a refinement is posted to their account.  You may want to send the patient an email to let them know that a new ClinCheck has been posted.

Deleting A ClinCheck

If a patient is out of treatment you may click Delete to remove them from this list. Clicking Delete will remove the patient's animation from Sesame but will not remove the patient from the Invisalign VIP page.  If you delete a ClinCheck the Invisalign link will disappear from the patient's account and the patient will no longer be able to view it online.
 



Email Registration and Set Date

It is a good idea to ask every Invisalign patient to register an email address so that they can receive an email notification when the ClinCheck is ready and view their animation online.  This saves you a lot of administrative time and effort.  If a patient does not have an email address to register, click Set date next to the patient's name under the Email Registered column.  Set date will change to a the current date to indicate the last time you asked the patient to register their email address.  You can click on the date to change it back to Set Date.
 



User Name and Password Changes

To avoid delayed posting of new ClinCheck animations notify Sesame when you change your Invisalign username and password.  If Sesame does not have the correct user name and password, the system cannot connect to Invisalign to pull new ClinCheck animations.

 


Invisalign is an optional Sesame feature included with your Sesame Membership.  If you offer Invisalign and would like to enable this feature, contact Sesame Member Services with your Invisalign user name and password.
