Newsletter Design Overview
You do not need to have any design experience to create a professional looking newsletter in Sesame. We do all of the design work for you. All you have to do is choose and arrange your content. See Figure 1 for a sample layout.

Newsletter Components
Banner
This will typically be a custom banner that matches your web site. If you do not have a custom banner available, a Sesame standard banner design will be available for you to use.
Title
Consider giving your publication a creative title that you can use every time you send it. "Dr. Sam Sesame Times", "Dr. Smith's Gazette", "The Dental Dish", "The Orthodontic Informant", etc.
Date
This is the date your newsletter was created.
Table of Contents
The table of contents are quick links at the top of your newsletter. The featured article appears first in the list and numbered articles (1, 2, 3, etc.) appear in order below it.
Featured Article
This is the spotlight article and appears in the right column of your newsletter.
Numbered Articles (1, 2, 3, etc.)
These articles appear below the table of contents section. We recommend including 3-5 articles in your newsletter. Less than 3 can make the newsletter appear empty, while more than 5 articles can be too much information for your patients to read in a reasonable amount of time.
Affiliations
Sesame provides you with a list of logos to choose from when you are creating your newsletter. If you insert a logo, it will appear here.
Web Links
Your web site home page will be listed here. If you choose to insert additional links, they will appear here.
Contact Info (Footer Left)
Your contact information (email, phone number, and web site) pulls in from your Email General Settings page. If you need to edit this information, edit it on the Email General Settings page.
Office Location (Footer Right)
Your office location can be edited on the newsletter Settings page. You can include multiple fields here and enter your doctors(s) name(s) or practice name in one of the fields.
